The President’s Reception for December graduates and their families will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, in Levitt Hall in Old Main.
The reception will be an informal gathering for graduates. Members of the faculty and staff are invited to offer their personal congratulations and best wishes to the graduates.

“This reception provides an opportunity for those graduating mid-year to have a more meaningful sense of closure to their years at Drake and to share this experience with others,” Drake President David Maxwell said.
“Dress is casual, there will be refreshments and spirited conversation, lots of happy students and parents, and there will be no long speeches — that’s a promise!” Maxwell added. “I know the students always greatly appreciate the presence and support of faculty and staff at these events.”
