Drake University will host “Brand Yourself,” a seminar designed to help aspiring business professionals establish a personal brand, on Friday, March 5.

The workshop, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. in Parents Hall in Olmsted Center, 2875 University Ave.

The event will open with a keynote address by Chick Herbert, vice president of leadership development and talent planning at Wells Fargo.

The brand-building workshop will allow participants to work one-on-one with Des Moines-area business professionals to develop a personal brand for a successful professional career.

Professionals also will address how participants can use their personal brand to get hired and how to enhance personal brands on the internet.

The event is sponsored by Drake’s Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a better, more sustainable world through the positive power of business.

For more information or to RSVP for the workshop, contact Wole Aluko-Olokun, co-president of SIFE, at oja001@drake.edu.
