Alumni reunions feature flavorful food and candid conversation

Drake Law School graduates live and practice in all 50 states, and as in past years, Dean Walker and Law School Senior Advancement Officer Jennifer Allamby travel to a number of cities to meet with them. On Nov. 15 nearly 20 alumni in Wisconsin gathered in Milwaukee to network, share savory food, and hear from the dean about how the Law School is doing and what plans the school has for the future. The luncheon was held at Milwaukee's sleek and stylish Bacchus, overlooking Lake Michigan.

In addition, the Law School planned a Washington, D.C. alumni reception on Oct. 25 at Clyde's of Gallery Place, a one-of-a-kind D.C. favorite, while faculty were in town for the AALS Faculty Recruitment Conference. Coming up are a Nov. 29 Alumni Luncheon in Dallas, Texas, and receptions next February in Las Vegas and next March in Miami. Twin Cities alumni met with the dean and his wife Sara, LW’84, for dinner in Minneapolis in September.
