The Drake University Wind Symphony, conducted by Robert Meunier, will perform a free concert at 8 p.m. Sunday, March 4, on the Jordan Stage in Sheslow Auditorium in Old Main, 2507 University Ave.
The program includes music by Vincent Persichetti, Percy Grainger, John Mackey and James Barnes. Barnes’ Third Symphony, written in memory of the tragic death of the composer’s daughter, will be the featured work of the concert.
